Hello Everyone,
So yes, I am ashamed to admit that I have not started my diet on Wednesday as planned, I know, I know, I must have zero willpower or motivation!
The truth is there has simply been too much going on the past few days to even begin to think about starting and sticking to the diet. But I have no food arrangements coming up so tomorrow will be the day for me to start properly. I haven't been totally naughty though, Monday evening I attended a Total Workout Class followed by Total Strength Class so I don't feel as bad on myself as maybe I should.
Here is the diet plan as promised in my earlier post:
Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner
Day 1 | 1 slice dry toast with tomato | Fresh Fruit, any amount | 2 hard boiled eggs, salad and grapefruit
Day 2 | Boiled egg and Grapefruit | Grilled Chicken with tomatoes and 1 slice dry toast | Grilled Steak and Salad
Day 3 | Boiled egg and Grapefruit | Fresh Fruit, any amount | 2 Grilled lamb chops, salad and Grapefuit
Day 4 | 1 slice dry toast | Fresh Fruit, any amount | 2 hard boiled eggs, salad and grapefruit
Day 5 | 1 slice dry toast | Fresh Fruit, any amount | Fish and salad
Day 6 | 1 Glass grapefruit juice | Fresh Fruit, any amount | Grilled Chicken, carrots and grapefruit
Day 7 | Scrambled eggs and tomato | 2 poached eggs and spinach | Grilled Steak and Salad |
I am vegetarian so I substitute the meat for the Quorn alternative. This Diet is actually called the Lose a Stone in a Week Diet. However when I did a trial run of this around a month ago I only lost half a stone (don't worry this has definitely been put back on, hence why I am restarting) I do believe the reason for not losing the full stone is because I only have 2 stone to lose but I think if you have more then that to lose you would definitely drop the full 1 stone.
It is a very difficult diet especially for someone who absolutely loves food like myself, I just need to keep telling myself it will all be worth it in the end and I am looking forward to logging my progress here.
If you are thinking of doing this diet you may only drink water or black tea/coffee (no sugar)
and do not add anything to the diet even in the cooking, it literally is as simple as the chart shows. I find it helps to make sure I have every ingredient and item stocked up, that way I can't give myself any excuses to cheat. The part I struggle with the most is the boiled eggs, I felt so fed up with them but can't seem to think of an alternative that wouldn't alter the diet as I have heard it is actually chemical based.
I would love to hear from anyone who has tried this diet or is trying it now, so if anyone has managed to stumble across my blog please let me know!
I promise to start tomorrow and STICK TO IT !!
